What we do

At Springbok Relief, we dedicate our time providing free support and expert advice to South Africans persecuted in their home country or abroad, relating to Humanitarian Protection under the UNHCR Refugee provisions and we’d like to reach-out to all who need help to better understand the asylum process and hopefully fulfil their refugee aspirations.

  • We will listen to your individual and family circumstances and offer-relevant advice, outlining risks and options;
  • We will be respectful in our engagement with you and tactfully understand your experiences whilst support you as you complete your application and compile evidence for your Asylum submission;
  • We are NOT an Immigration Agency but have deep insight into the administrative process, procedure and requirements and are able to guide you through the complexities of this somewhat intimidating process;
  • We can introduce to Immigration professional(s) who understand the South African content and who can guide you, should your circumstances be complex;
  • We assure you complete confidentiality as we are respectful that many of the persecuted have suffered greatly be, they physical or emotional as most experience PTSD, Anxiety related Disorders and symptoms relating to chronic depression;
  • We will assist you with your Declarations for your Refugee application;
  • We will provide access to our research, analysis and collated data categorised in over 47 folders amounting to over 550 relevant documents;

  • We will provide you with ‘Independent Subject Matter’ testimony for Case Officer Interviews and even at Administrative Appeals Tribunal hearings;
  • We will advise you on healthy assimilation practices within you new community and support you as you transform your life; free of persecution, safe from serious threat and filled with dignity and pride;
  • We will provide access to our support network as together; we must make a difference and change the status quo.
